We are a custom tattoo and piercing shop with guest artists coming from all over and are lucky enough to be located just 5 miles from Vail town center in Avon. Our artists are highly experienced and passionate.

Petro
Artist
Petro is originally from the Bay Area but has tattooed all over the Southwest most recently in New Mexico. He started tattooing in 1989. He showed an interest in tattooing at an early age, while still in high school. He fondly tells a story of his Mom getting so mad because he stole forks from the kitchen drawer to make one of his first tattoo machines.
Experienced artists just know what questions to ask of potential clients. When a client schedules a consultation appointment, frequently Petro can understand what his clients want immediately, sometimes even before they do. Petro has always been an artist. His paintings have been shown in LA, Santa Fe, Taos, and Hawaii. His art has been purchased by large collectors, musicians, and celebrities.
While Petro has held guest spots in many shops all over the country. Avanti Tattoo, by far, has been his favorite. As an avid snowboarder and general lover of Colorado, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be in the area full time.
Come by and have a conversation. You’ll leave the shop with new ink and telling all your friends there’s no better place to grab a tattoo.

We had a blast organizing and hosting some epic multi-media art shows thanks to our amazing collab partners and friends: Alogorythm Designs, WS2020, Moonrise Minturn, and DJ Stennor. We are currently looking for a new venue to host many, many more future shows… stay tuned for more!
